SAVIORG, a California (Santa Barbara) private foundation, was founded in 1990. A
recent letter received from the California Secretary of State fully validates SAVIORG
for all operations specified in, and closely related to, its tax-exmpt purpose. Our original
mission was the provision of low cost Marital Counseling especially to low-income minority
group members (dyads). We found couples that stay together work and eat well together.

   Over the past twenty years, there have been many changes in professional direction
and philosophy at SAVIORG but always the burden persisted to help the poor cope with
their terrible lot in life.

   Today, we find ourselves involved in a new beginning and direction. Please click to

   Essentially, we want the USA government (USAID) and numerous under-developed
countries to grow thousands of acres of Triticale; harvest and process the grain and then
make food products for distribution gratis (or at very low cost) to needy citizens and others
in their countries.

   Triticale porridge alone (crushed grain boiled in water) will nourish millions with a unique
combination of wheat and rye containing ample amounts of lysine (protein) and other amino
acids.

   Because our systems are well engineered and supervised, we expect allocations of seed
and grain, country-by-county, to be cost-effective such that minimum revenues from recipient
governments will defray expenses year-to-year.

Tentative Rationale:

   There are huge markets for regular wheat seed, grain, flour and the many baked
products derived from same but, to our knowledge, no such markets exist for Triticale.
Therefore, donations of Triticale to certain governments for planting, processing and
distribution will not disrupt commercial wheat markets and the many businessess that
serve them worldwide.
